Do Over!
Remember how, when you were a kid, you could be in the middle of playing a game and if things didn’t go the way you wanted them to, you could just say, “Do over!” – and, well, simply do it over again?
I realized last week that my workshops were out of sequence, that the information I want to share would be better presented in a different order. A couple years ago, this would have felt like failure – to not have gotten it right the first time would have been a disaster (oh, the drama).
Now, I can just say, “Do over!” to myself and update the information on my website as needed and get on with things – no self-flagellation necessary.
Amazing how “Do over!” makes work feel a lot more like play…

Is perfectionism or the sense that things can’t be undone preventing you from having more fun in your work?
